About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations at a high-profile, community-focused restaurant. This individual will be responsible for driving financial performance, developing and leading a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the restaurant's reputation as a local destination.

This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, high-volume restaurant experience, and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure seamless daily execution
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop restaurant team members
  • Build and maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest-focused service
  • Ensure food quality, safety, sanitation, security, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and operational expenses
  • Review financial reports and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual revenue and expense analyses
  • Organize and supervise daily shifts while maintaining appropriate staffing levels
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities
  • Forecast operational needs, including supplies, equipment, and inventory requirements
  • Promote the restaurant within the local community through events, partnerships, and grassroots marketing initiatives
  • Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Support catering and private event operations in partnership with the sales team

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager
  • Proven success leading high-volume restaurant operations
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor, food costs, and profitability
  • Experience with Toast POS preferred
  • Experience with Tripleseat and Restaurant365 (R365) is highly desirable
  • Experience overseeing catering, private events, or event-driven restaurant operations is a strong plus
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and employee development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional early mornings
